While its value as an element of garden design is sometimes neglected, fencing is a key part of both the appearance and useability of your garden. Garden fencing tends to differ between the front and rear of properties, with higher and more secure timber fencing usually being installed in the rear garden, while the front of the home usually features smaller sized and more decorative fencing. Fencing for the front of the home tends to feature a low height and large gaps between the wooden slats. Additionally, it is often stained to enhance its ornamental effect. Fencing in the back garden is generally used for privacy and to preserve the boundaries of a garden, as well as to keep pets or other small animals or wildlife either in or out. Due to this, these styles of fences are roughly 6 feet high and use wooden slats with no gaps in between. Due to the added height, these fences generally have concrete footings laid between each panel to offer security and stopping the fence from blowing over or being damaged in poor weather. Garden fencing panels are generally constructed from wood. The posts in between the sections are made from either wood, stone, or concrete. Recently, fence panels have started to be constructed from heavily recycled and eco friendly composite materials such as recycled bamboo.

Moor Row is a village situated in North West England. It remains in Cumbria as well as lies on a minor road off the A595 road south of Whitehaven. Moor Row is a residential community positioned in between Whitehaven and Egremont on Cumbria’s coastal plain. The history of Moor Row goes back to at the very least 1762, but it was the 19th century discovery of iron ore around that constructed the ‘row of residences on a moor’. Cornish tin miners relocated below to function the mines, and their visibility is kept in mind in a variety of road names such as Penzance Street. One street, Dalzell, is named after Thomas Henry Dalzell, a mine owner. The town name probably describes the Scalegill street houses, which are kept in mind on an 1860 Ordnance Survey map. The 1859 homes on Dalzell Street are believed to be the oldest of the terraced rows. The town has grown in the 20th century, including modern-day country residences to the blend and also is continuing to do so in the 21st century.
