Paving is a common way of designing bespoke and attractive spaces in your garden. Hard wearing and tough, paving offers an effective way of providing spaces for eating or socialising, or it can simply be used as a low maintenance alternative to lawn. Paving is also ideal for providing access to different areas of your garden, and is also perfect for use if you’ve got a gated side alley with your home, or for creating a path across your lawn.
Garden paving is available in a number of styles and types of stone. Whether you pick marble, granite, limestone, slate, or sandstone, there will be a type of stone to fit your needs. Garden paving can even be found in vitrified tile, which is a form of very robust porcelain tile appropriate for outdoor use. Whenever choosing your paving options, be sure to speak to a variety of companies and manufacturers to ensure that you select the perfect style for your garden. Also consider using a differing style for detailing or edging, and choose a pattern that accentuates your space and attracts attention to any features you want to showcase.
Laying paving is a relatively easy project, but it does require a base to be laid that is level and able to support the weight of the paving as well as of any furniture you would like to have on top of the paving.

Broxbourne is a commuter town within the Broxbourne borough of Hertfordshire in the East of England with a population of 13,298 in 2001. The town is twinned with the Sicilian city of Sutera. The word Broxbourne is believed to find its origins from the Old English words brocc and burna which means Badger stream. The Manor of Broxbourne is described in the Domesday Book, which names Broxbourne Mill. The area was exploited for its gravel and sand extraction during 20th century, that came to an end when the raw materials were exhausted at the end of the 1960s leaving behind lots of water filled lakes. Many of the lakes became part of the Lee Valley Regional Park. Though urbanised with industrial and commercial activity, the whole area preserves its rural character and is preferred by individuals commuting to London. The New River which passes by way of the town centre, was built in the early seventeenth century. Broxbourne railway station was built in 1840. A terracotta works was opened soon afterwards by James Pulham and Son, who specialised in producing artificial rock gardens; some of their work is still in the gardens at Sandringham House and Buckingham Palace. There are 600 companies inside the borough, with warehousing and distribution sectors being especially well represented. The employers with over 250 personnel include: Fitzpatrick PLC in Hoddesdon (civil engineers); J Sainsbury, also in Hoddesdon; Marks & Spencer; Turnford Retailers and Merck Sharp & Dohme in Hoddesdon involved with pharmaceutical research. The national headquarters of Tesco are at Delamere Road, Cheshunt. The Borough of Broxbourne at Park Plaza Waltham Cross is also home to the world’s biggest printing plant, which creates publications for News International including The Sun, The Times and The Sun on Sunday. For all your property improvements, be certain that you utilise vetted experts in Broxbourne to make sure that you get the very best quality service.
