Wooden decking is an increasingly common option for providing outdoor seating areas in gardens. Due to the natural beauty of wood, they can be very beautiful spaces which can be used year round by installing outside heating and light. Wooden decking is generally installed in locations in front of patio or French doors where they can create a seamless transition between inside and outside spaces. Wooden decking can come in any size or shape to complement any area. Curved designs or large areas connected by pathways can create a stunning effect.
Wooden decking is reasonably quick to install and causes minimal disruption, especially when compared to other possibilities like patio or paving. It could even be installed over the top of a pre-existing patio. It is critical however to be sure that your wooden decking is structurally sound and able to take the weight of any furniture or plants that you want to use on the decking.
There is a choice of varieties of wood that can be used in wooden decking. Usually decking is constructed from hardwood, but there are softwoods available that fulfil the durability requirements. As hardwood decking will demand maintenance, which typically involves yearly cleaning and staining for weather proofing, composite woods are becoming more popular for use in wooden decking because they are more robust and require much less maintenance.

Get Stockbridge pros
Stockbridge is a village as well as civil parish in the Test Valley district of Hampshire, England. It is just one of the tiniest towns in the United Kingdom with a population of 592 since the 2011 census. It rests astride the River Test and at the foot of Stockbridge Down. The town is located on the A30 road, which when brought the majority of the web traffic from London to Dorset, south Somerset, Devon and Cornwall in the South West, though today this course is less important than the A303 twin carriageway to the north. The bridge over the Test caused the town’s name, a local tale recommended a trainer quit equipped provisions, but it derives from an earlier bridge that was made of ‘supplies’ (tree trunks). Salisbury is 15 miles (24 km) by road; Winchester is 8.3 miles (13.4 km) by the B3049 road that joins the A30 close by. The community’s long high road was hence on a valuable route between both medieval cathedral cities. The community’s civil parish has a location of 1,323 acres (535 ha). The community’s street crosses the River Test, marking the border of the parishes of Stockbridge as well as Longstock by a low bridge of 3 arcs rebuilt and also broadened in 1799. 5 smaller river channels flow via the community. For a brief time, to provide area for fish, these were split into 8 man-made ditches just over the community. The community is on a shared pedestrian/footpath, the Test Way.
