Anstruther is a little coastal resort community in Fife, Scotland, positioned on the north-shore of the Firth of Forth and also 9 mi (14 kilometres) south-southeast of St Andrews. The community consists of 2 settlements, Anstruther Easter and Anstruther Wester, which are split by a stream, the Dreel Burn. Anstruther Enjoyment Cruises operate sightseeing/wildlife cruise ships from the harbour to the Isle of May, the UK’s main puffin place, aboard the vessel the Might Princess from April to October. A wealth of various other wild animals, consisting of seal nests, also live in the island.
