Although its significance as an aspect of garden design is sometimes overlooked, fencing is an essential part of both the appearance and functionality of your garden. Garden fencing tends to differ between the front and rear of properties, with higher and more substantial wood fencing usually being installed in the rear garden, while the front of the property generally features smaller and more attractive fencing. Fencing for the front of the home tends to have a low height and large gaps between the wooden slats. It is also often coloured to improve its decorative effect.
Fencing in the back garden is commonly used for privacy and to protect the borders of a garden, as well as to keep pets or other small animals or wildlife either in or out. Due to this, these types of fences are approximately 6 feet high and use wooden slats without gaps in between. Because of the added height, these fences generally have concrete footings laid in between each panel to offer stability preventing the fence from blowing over or being destroyed in poor weather.
Garden fencing panels are generally constructed from wood. The posts in between the panels are produced from either timber, stone, or concrete. More recently, fence panels have started to be made of heavily recycled and eco friendly composite materials such as recycled bamboo.

Get Brechin pros
Brechin is a town as well as former Royal burgh in Angus, Scotland. Traditionally Brechin was referred to as a city as a result of its cathedral and its status as the seat of a pre-Reformation Roman Catholic diocese (which continues today as an episcopal seat of the Scottish Episcopal Church), yet that condition has not been formally recognised in the contemporary era. However, the classification is commonly used, with instances being the City of Brechin and District Neighborhood Council, City of Brechin and also Area Partnership, City of Brechin Civic Trust and Brechin City Football Club. In the centre of Brechin is a tiny museum in the previous town hall, and an award winning visitor attraction, the Caledonian Railway. In addition to the cathedral as well as round tower, part of the chapel of Brechin’s Maison Dieu or medical facility survives from the Middle Ages; the Maison Dieu was founded before 1267 by William de Brechin. [9] The Maison Dieu chapel remains in the treatment of Historic Environment Scotland. The Bank Street drill hall was finished in 1879.
