While its significance as an aspect of garden design is sometimes neglected, fencing is an integral part of both the appearance and practicality of your garden. Garden fencing is likely to differ between the front and back of properties, with higher and more tough wooden fencing typically being installed in the rear garden, while the front of the property usually features more compact and more attractive fencing. Fencing for the front of the home tends to feature a low height and large spaces between the wooden slats. It is also often stained to improve its ornamental effect.
Fencing in the back garden is frequently used for privacy and to protect the borders of a garden, as well as to keep household pets or other small animals or wildlife either in or out. Because of this, these varieties of fences are roughly 6 feet high and use wooden slats with no spaces in between. Because of the extra height, these fences commonly have concrete footings laid in between each panel to offer stability and stopping the fence from blowing over or being broken in poor weather.
Garden fencing sections are generally constructed from wood. The posts in between the sections are produced from either timber, stone, or concrete. More recently, fence panels have started to be made from heavily recycled and eco friendly composite materials such as recycled bamboo.

Fishguard is a coastal community in Pembrokeshire, Wales, with a population of 3,419 in 2011; the community of Fishguard and Goodwick had a population of 5,407. Modern Fishguard contains 2 components, Lower Fishguard as well as the “Main Town”. Fishguard and Goodwick are twin communities with a joint Community Council. Lower Fishguard is believed to be the site of the original hamlet from which modern Fishguard has actually expanded. It remains in a deep valley where the River Gwaun satisfies the sea, for this reason the Welsh name for Fishguard. It is a typical angling village with a short tidal quay. The settlement stretches along the north slope of the valley. The main town contains the parish church, the High Street as well as most of the modern-day advancement, and also exists upon the hill to the south of Lower Fishguard, to which it is signed up with by a high as well as winding road. The part of the community that faces Goodwick grew in the very first years of the 20th century with the development of Fishguard Harbour.
