Although its importance as an element of garden design is sometimes ignored, fencing is an essential part of both the appearance and practicality of your garden. Garden fencing tends to differ between the front and back of properties, with taller and more strong wooden fencing commonly being installed in the rear garden, while the front of the house generally employs smaller and more ornamental fencing. Fencing for the front of the home tends to feature a low height and large spaces between the wooden slats. It is also often stained to improve its ornamental effect.
Fencing in the back garden is commonly used for privacy and to protect the boundaries of a garden, as well as to keep household pets or other small animals or wildlife either in or out. Due to this, these kinds of fences are roughly 6 feet high and use wooden slats without spaces in between. Due to the increased height, these fences commonly have concrete footings laid in between each section to provide stability and stopping the fence from blowing over or being ruined in high winds.
Garden fencing panels are generally constructed from wood. The posts in between the sections are produced from either wood, stone, or concrete. More recently, fence panels have started to be constructed from heavily recycled and sustainable composite materials such as recycled bamboo.

March is a Fenland market town and civil parish in the Isle of Ely area of Cambridgeshire, England. March was the county town of the Isle of Ely, which was a distinct administrative county between 1889 and 1965. It is now the administrative centre of Fenland District Council. Similar to numerous Fenland towns, March was once an island surrounded by marshes. It occupied the second largest ‘island’ in the Great Level. As the land drained, the town grew and prospered as a trading and religious centre. It was also a minor port prior to turning into, in more recent times, a market town and an administrative and railway centre. March is situated on the banks of the old course of the navigable River Nene, and today generally used by pleasure boats. The town’s growth occurred most rapidly when it transformed into an important railway centre. It had a major junction in between the Great Eastern Railway and Great Northern Railway at March train station, permitting ease of access to and from London, Cambridge and Ely. In particular, March Royal Mail sorting office, previously a full post office dates from 1936, is uncommon in that it is among a couple of post offices that display the royal cypher from the brief reign of Edward VIII. There are many shopping opportunities for the 19042 citizens of March. March Town Centre is home to a wide variety of independent and commercial chain stores. A retail park opened in 2008, extending the ability to go shopping in superstores and supermarkets. Distributed throughout the town are also several restaurants, bars and public houses. For all of your home upgrades, make certain to make use of reliable contractors in March to make certain of quality.
