While its significance as an element of garden design is often overlooked, fencing is a key part of both the appearance and functionality of your garden. Garden fencing will likely differ between the front and back of properties, with taller and more substantial timber fencing typically being installed in the rear garden, while the front of the property usually features smaller sized and more ornamental fencing. Fencing for the front of the home tends to feature a low height and large spaces between the wooden slats. Also, it is often stained to enhance its decorative effect.
Fencing in the back garden is commonly used for privacy and to preserve the borders of a garden, as well as to keep pets or other small animals or wildlife either in or out. Because of this, these types of fences are roughly 6 feet high and use wooden slats without gaps in between. Because of the increased height, these fences often have concrete footings laid in between each section to offer strength and stop the fence from blowing over or being broken in high winds.
Garden fencing sections are generally made of wood. The posts in between the sections are produced from either timber, stone, or concrete. More recently, fence panels have started to be constructed from heavily recycled and eco friendly composite materials such as recycled bamboo.

Trimdon (population 2,958) is a village in Area Durham, in England (earlier Tremeldon (1196) or Tremedon (1262 )). It is 9 miles west of Hartlepool, and adjacent to Trimdon Colliery, Trimdon Grange as well as Deaf Hill (additionally referred to as Trimdon Station). In your area, to differentiate it from these it is known as Trimdon Village or just “The Village”. The major centerpiece of “The Village” is Saint Mary Magdalene church, which was constructed during the Norman period (approximately 1145AD). Trimdon Labour Club (now closed) was the setup for some of the former prime minister as well as constituency MP, Tony Blair’s constituency speeches. Blair’s neighborhood house remained in close-by Trimdon Colliery.
