Paving is a fashionable way of creating bespoke and appealing spaces in your garden. Strong and durable, paving offers a great way of providing spaces for eating or socialising, or it can simply be used as a low maintenance substitute for grass. Paving is also great for providing access to different areas of your garden, and is also perfect for use if you’ve got a gated side alley with your home, or for creating a path across your lawn. Garden paving is available in a variety of designs and types of stone. Whether you select marble, granite, limestone, slate, or sandstone, there is bound to be a type of stone to suit your specifications. Garden paving can be found in vitrified tile, which is a type of very resilient porcelain tile appropriate for outdoor use. When choosing your paving options, make sure to speak to several companies and manufacturers to make sure that you select the perfect style for your garden. Also consider adding a differing style for detailing or edging, and choose a pattern that enhances your space and attracts focus on any features you want to highlight. Laying paving is a relatively easy project, but it does require a base to be laid that is level and capable of supporting the weight of the paving as well as of any furniture you want to have on top of the paving.

Abergele is a community and modest market town. The symbolism of the name Abergele can be appreciated by ‘aber’ being the Welsh word which means estuary, and ‘Gele’ the name of the river that runs through the town. Gele is a dialectal form of gelau, which means spear, believed to be characterising the motion of the river cutting through the land. It has also been suggested that this river is named because its waters shimmer brilliantly. The town is situated on the north coast of Wales between the holiday resorts of Colwyn Bay and Rhyl, in Conwy County Borough. Its northern residential area of Pensarn is located on the Irish Sea coast and is famous for its beach, where it is alleged by some that a ghost ship has been spotted. Abergele and Pensarn train stations provide services to both resorts. The town itself lies on the A55 road and is known for Gwrych Castle. The town is encircled by forest covered hillsides, which feature caves with rare lesser horseshoe bats. The highest hill is Moelfre Isaf (1040 feet) to the south of the town. There are in addition exceptional views from Cefn-yr-Ogof, which measures 669 feet, Tower Hill, which is 587 feet, and Castell Cawr (known in the area as Tan-y-Gopa) which is 189 metres (620 ft). Castell Cawr is an Iron Age hillfort, and among several in the area. Dinorben hillfort to the east of the town was destroyed in the 1980s. As per the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent population of around 10577 people. Within this population, roughly 29% have a significant understanding of Welsh.
