Paving is a popular way of providing bespoke and beautiful spaces in your garden. Hard wearing and resilient, paving offers an ideal way of providing spaces for eating or socialising, or it can simply be used as a low maintenance alternative to grass. Paving is also ideal for providing access to different regions of your garden, and is perfect for use if you’ve got a gated side alley with your home, or for creating a path across your lawn.
Garden paving comes in an array of designs and types of stone. Whether you choose marble, granite, limestone, slate, or sandstone, there is bound to be a kind of stone to suit your requirements. Garden paving can also be found in vitrified tile, which is a form of very hard wearing porcelain tile ideal for outdoor use. When considering your paving options, make sure that you speak to a number of companies and manufacturers to make sure that you find the perfect style for your garden. Also consider adding a differing style for detailing or edging, and choose a pattern that enhances your space and draws attention to any features you want to showcase.
Laying paving is a relatively easy job, but it will require a base to be laid that is level and able to support the weight of the paving as well as of any furniture you would like to have on top of the paving.

Skelmorlie is a village in North Ayrshire, Scotland. Although it is the northern most settlement in the council location of North Ayrshire it is contiguous with Wemyss Bay, which is in Inverclyde. The separating line is the Kelly Burn, which streams into the Firth of Clyde just southern of the Rothesay ferryboat terminal. Regardless of their distance, the two villages have historically been split, Skelmorlie in Ayrshire and Wemyss Bay in Renfrewshire. Skelmorlie itself is separated into 2 areas, Lower and Upper Skelmorlie. There is one primary school in the village, with second age students mosting likely to Largs Academy in North Ayrshire. Alike with this part of the Clyde foreshore the rich red sandstone is a famous attribute of the landscape as well as housing in Skelmorlie.
