Landscaping is a term which means modifying the visible features of land, and can as a result include a wide range of gardening tasks, from simple DIY projects to full scale design and build landscaping solutions. Landscaping is frequently split into two separate areas. Soft landscaping refers to adjustments to plants, trees and shrubs, as well as laying turf. Hard landscaping is used to group transformations to terrain like the installation of patios, walls, fences, decking, driveways, or artificial grass. Landscaping will also consist of maintenance jobs such as mowing and strimming lawns, trimming hedges and bushes and pruning trees, although these activities are typically performed alongside larger scale adjustments to the garden itself.
Experienced landscaping experts can perform a survey of your garden and recommend to you the best changes to increase the use of your space. If you have always wanted a patio, sleeper beds for planting or a water fountain, a landscape company will execute the design and build of these elements. In addition, many landscaping companies also provide an aftercare service, where they will conduct regular upkeep on your garden to ensure its new features remain in perfect condition. Landscaping works can make your garden and the other areas around your home such as your driveway a genuinely useful and beautiful space that you can enjoy for many years to come.
