Maintenance and upkeep is a significant element of any beautiful garden. Although small gardens may only require periodic maintenance, bigger gardens can quickly become overgrown and difficult to use and enjoy. Choosing an experienced gardener to maintain your garden will ensure it looks as beautiful as possible, and might even save you money in the long run, as the cost of rejuvenating an overgrown garden can be very significant, and could even require replanting any damaged plants. Garden maintenance jobs will obviously differ substantially depending on the size of your garden and the kind of plants that are in it. Lawns will demand mowing, strimming and edging, as well as grass feeding and weeding to kill off any weeds or moss that might be growing. This can ensure your garden has a desirable green lawn. Plants and flowerbeds will need planting and pruning, while hedges and large bushes or trees will need trimming to ensure they do not block out too much light or become overgrown. Professional garden maintenance companies will be able to perform all of these jobs. They will bring all of their own tools, which can save you from having to store heavy garden tools, as well as disposing of your garden waste in an green way. Garden maintenance companies will generally organise to execute maintenance in a continuous fashion and will agree a maintenance timetable of work with you. Typically, this will include a visit every couple of weeks, possibly increasing to weekly at specific times of the year.
