Maintenance and upkeep is a substantial portion of any beautiful garden. Although small gardens might only demand occasional maintenance, more substantial gardens can quickly become overgrown and difficult to use and appreciate. Employing an experienced gardener to maintain your garden will ensure it looks as attractive as possible, and might even save you money in the long run, as the price of rejuvenating an overgrown garden can be very high, and may even require replacing any damaged plants. Garden maintenance jobs will obviously vary significantly depending on the size of your garden and the kind of plants that are in it. Lawns will demand mowing, strimming and edging, as well as grass feeding and weeding to kill off any weeds or moss that could be growing. This will ensure your garden has a lovely green lawn. Plants and flowerbeds will demand planting and pruning, while hedges and large bushes or trees will require trimming to ensure they do not block out too much light or become overgrown. Specialist garden maintenance companies can accomplish all of these jobs. They will bring all of their own tools, which could save you from having to store large garden tools, as well as disposing of your garden waste in an eco-friendly way. Garden maintenance companies will generally organise to carry out maintenance in a continuous fashion and will agree a maintenance timetable of work with you. Normally, this will include a visit every couple of weeks, potentially increasing to weekly at specific times of the year.

Barton-upon-Humber or Barton is a town and civil parish in North Lincolnshire, England. According to the 2011 Census, the town boasts a permanent resident population of around 11066 people. It’s situated on the south bank of the Humber Estuary at the southern end of the Humber Bridge. It is 46 miles (74 kilometres) east of Leeds, 6 miles (10 kilometres) south-west of Hull and 31 miles (50 kilometres) north-east of the county town of Lincoln. Other neighbouring towns include Scunthorpe towards the south-west and Grimsby towards the south-east. The Barton Cleethorpes Branch Line via Grimsby concludes at Barton-on-Humber train station. The A15 passes to the west of the town cutting through Beacon Hill, and includes a junction with the A1077 Ferriby Road to South Ferriby. The B1218 passes north-south through the town, and leads to Barton Waterside. An Anglo-Saxon inhumation cemetery at Castledyke South, used in the late 5th or early 6th century until the late seventh century, was investigated and partially excavated in 1975. The skeletal remains of 227 people were found, including one individual who had undergone, and survived, trepanning. The church was reopened in May 2007 as a resource for medical analysis into the development of illnesses, and ossuary, containing the bones and skeletons of some 2750 people whose remains had been removed between 1978 and 1984 from the 1000-year-old burial site, after the Church of England declared the church redundant in 1972. The significance of the human remains lies in their representing the pathology of an isolated community over the time period between 950 and 1850. An excavation report on one of England’s most extensively investigated parish churches, including a volume on the human remains, was published in 2007.
