Maintenance and upkeep is a large portion of any beautiful garden. While small gardens may only require occasional maintenance, bigger gardens can quickly become overgrown and difficult to use and appreciate. Hiring a specialist gardener to take care of your garden will ensure it looks as beautiful as possible, and can even save you money in the long term, as the price of cutting back an overgrown garden can be extremely expensive, and could even require replacing any damaged plants.
Garden maintenance jobs will obviously differ considerably depending on the size of your garden and the type of plants that are in it. Lawns will need mowing, strimming and edging, as well as grass feeding and weeding to kill off any weeds or moss that might be growing. This will ensure your garden has a appealing green lawn. Plants and flowerbeds will demand planting and pruning, while hedges and large bushes or trees will need trimming to ensure they do not block out too much light or become overgrown.
Expert garden maintenance companies will be able to carry out all of these jobs. They will bring all of their own tools, which can save you from needing to store large garden tools, as well as disposing of your garden waste in an eco-friendly way. Garden maintenance companies will often organise to execute maintenance in a regular fashion and will agree a maintenance schedule of work with you. Typically, this will include a visit every couple of weeks, potentially increasing to weekly at specific times of the year.
