Maintenance and upkeep is a significant aspect of any beautiful garden. While small gardens may only require occasional maintenance, bigger gardens can quickly become overgrown and difficult to use and appreciate. Hiring an experienced gardener to take care of your garden will make sure it looks as beautiful as possible, and can even save you money in the long run, as the price of rejuvenating an overgrown garden can be extremely high, and could even involve replanting any damaged plants. Garden maintenance jobs will obviously vary substantially depending on the size of your garden and the kind of plants that are in it. Lawns will demand mowing, strimming and edging, as well as grass feeding and weeding to kill off any weeds or moss that might be growing. This can ensure your garden features a lovely green lawn. Plants and flowerbeds will need planting and pruning, while hedges and large bushes or trees will need trimming to ensure they do not block out too much light or become overgrown. Experienced garden maintenance companies will be able to accomplish all of these jobs. They will bring all of their own tools, which may save you from having to store bulky garden tools, as well as disposing of your garden waste in an green way. Garden maintenance companies will generally organise to undertake maintenance in an ongoing fashion and will agree a maintenance schedule of work with you. Normally, this will include a visit every couple of weeks, potentially increasing to weekly at specific times of the year.

Goodwick is a seaside town in Pembrokeshire, south-west Wales, directly west of its twin town of Fishguard. The coasts of Wales went through Norse raids throughout the Viking Era and, in the latter 10th century, Norse trading posts and settlements ended up being established. Goodwick was a modest fishing village in the parish of Llanwnda, but in 1887 work begun on a railway connection and harbour, and the village expanded rapidly to service this. The primary market is now tourism although in the town’s industrial past brick making was at one time an important market. Some fishing still takes place on a small scale but most activity is centred on Milford Haven. The local beach, Goowick Sands, is where the overpowered French invasion force convened before their unconditional surrender on 24 February 1797. Fishguard and Goodwick train station served regional rail visitors from the town, and from nearby Fishguard, till the line was essentially closed to such guests by the decrease in service to boat trains only in 1964. After this, trains only served Fishguard Harbour and the station fell into disrepair. Following financial investment from Network Rail and Pembrokeshire County Council the station has actually now been re-built and was reopened for guests once again, on 14 May 2012. It is served by the boat trains and the recently launched local trains. The town is also served by the Fishguard town service bus, which runs alternately from Harbour Village or Stop-and-Call, formerly a different settlement, to Fishguard town hall. 2 Fishguard to St. Davids bus routes also pass through the town.
