Patios continue to be a very popular method of creating practical outdoor spaces which can be used for entertaining, dining, or just to enhance the beauty of your garden. Patios are created from block or slab paving and can come in a large variety of colours, patterns and designs. Patios can be laid in either random course patterns where the pattern is varied, or in repeating patterns that have a consistent effect. Patios are particularly durable and demand minimal maintenance, only occasional cleaning to protect the natural beauty of the stone. Patios are often installed in locations where patio or French doors can open directly out onto them as this results in a smooth transition between the inside and outside spaces. Patios come in a wide selection of colours and types of stone. Consider introducing a different colour and style of stone to either inlay a fashionable design or as edging to highlight the shape of your patio. It is vital to consider the use of your patio when designing it and measure precisely to ensure that any furniture fits the intended space. Specialist patio and paving companies can design you a patio that perfectly fulfills your requirements and creates an outdoor area that is practical as well as beautiful.
