Patios remain a very common method of creating functional outdoor spaces which you can use for entertaining, dining, or just to enhance the beauty of your garden. Patios are constructed from block or slab paving and can come in an enormous range of colours, patterns and designs. Patios can be laid in either random course patterns where the pattern is varied, or in repeating patterns that have a consistent effect. Patios are extremely hard wearing and demand almost no maintenance, only periodic cleaning to retain the natural beauty of the stone. Patios are usually installed in locations where patio or French doors can open directly out onto them as this causes a smooth transition between the inside and outside spaces.
Patios come in a huge selection of colours and types of stone. Give some thought to adding a different colour and type of stone to either inlay a stylish design or as edging to complement the shape of your patio. It is critical to consider the use of your patio when designing it and measure accurately to be sure that any furniture fits the intended space. Specialist patio and paving companies can design you a patio that perfectly satisfies your requirements and creates an outdoor area that is functional as well as beautiful.

Get Carluke pros
Carluke is a town situated in the centre of the Lanarkshire countryside in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. It’s 4.7 miles northwest of Lanark and 4.2 miles southeast of Wishaw, sitting on a high plateau overseeing the River Clyde, directly in the middle of Lanarkshire’s fruit growing area. In accordance with a population survey in 2008, it has a permanent population of around 19500, which makes it the Clyde Valley’s most populated town. Carluke’s expansion began most rapidly during the time of the industrial revolution, with corn milling, cotton weaving, coal mining and the manufacture of bricks, glass, confectionary and jam becoming the town’s most important industries. Now, Carluke is predominantly a commuting town. The town is served by dual carriageways connecting it to the M8 and M74, and in addition, it benefits from frequent trains to Lanark, Motherwell, Hamilton, Glasgow and Edinburgh. In spite of this, there are a number of big employers based in the town. Due to Carluke’s close proximity to Clyde Valley’s key fruit growers, the jam company, Renshaw Scott, is a significant employer, which developed further by recently adding a chocolate refinery to their plant. Significant redevelopment works have been completed in the town since the beginning of the 21st century. There is a sizeable variety of independent shops and supermarkets in the vibrant and newly regenerated town centre, with residents of neighbouring villages, such as Braidwood, Forth, Kilncadzow and Law, making use of the wide selection of shops and services that can be discovered in Carluke. In 2010, a ‘1.1 million indoor soft play and cafe’, ‘The Bubbles Factory’, was constructed, which was voted ‘The best Play in the UK’. For all of your property upgrades, be certain that you employ trustworthy pros in Carluke to make sure you get the top quality.
