Patios remain a very widely used method of creating practical outdoor spaces that you can use for socialising, dining, or just to enhance the attractiveness of your garden. Patios are constructed from block or slab paving and are available in an enormous assortment of colours, patterns and designs. Patios can be laid in either random course patterns where the pattern is varied, or in repeating patterns that have a consistent effect. Patios are incredibly durable and require minimal maintenance, only occasional cleaning to protect the natural beauty of the stone. Patios are often installed in locations where patio or French doors can open directly out onto them as this causes a smooth transition between the inside and outside spaces. Patios come in a wide assortment of colours and types of stone. Give some thought to introducing a different colour and type of stone to either inlay a fashionable design or as edging to complement the shape of your patio. It is vital to consider the use of your patio when planning it and measure precisely to ensure that any furniture will fit the intended space. Professional patio and paving companies can design you a patio that perfectly meets your requirements and creates an outdoor area that is practical as well as beautiful.

Inverurie is a Royal Burgh and town in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It is found at the confluence of the rivers Ury and Don, around 16 miles (26 kilometres) north west of Aberdeen. In accordance with the 2001 Census, the town has a permanent population of about 10885. Inverurie’s earliest known charter dates back to 1558, with its modern development occurring as a result of the structure of the Aberdeenshire Canal. This linked Port Elphinstone with Aberdeen Harbour in 1806. The Inverurie Locomotive Works, operating in between 1905 and 1969, led to a modest boost in size and prosperity, however it was not up until the ‘Oil Boom’ of the last quarter of the 20th century that the town developed into much of what is identified as its present form. The town centre is triangular and is dominated by the grand Town Hall, which was built in 1862. In the middle of the ‘square’, as it is known regionally, is the Inverurie and District War Memorial, capped by a lone Gordon Highlander looking out over the town. The primary shopping areas include the Market Place and West High Street, which branch out from the centre to the more residential part of the town. Lately, Inverurie has seen a progressing number of Aberdeen commuters going to live there, making it considered as ‘the fastest growing town in Great Britain’. The town has a number of transportation links adding to its attraction as a place in which to commute from, being set on the A96 road and served by Inverurie train station on the Aberdeen to Inverness Line. The closest airport is Aberdeen Airport at Dyce. For all your home refurbishments, be sure to identify trustworthy contractors in Inverurie to make certain of quality.
