Patios continue to be an extremely successful method of creating functional outdoor spaces which you can use for socialising, dining, or simply to enhance the attractiveness of your garden. Patios are made from block or slab paving and can come in a large range of colours, patterns and designs. Patios can be laid in either random course patterns where the pattern is varied, or in repeating patterns that have a consistent effect. Patios are incredibly hard wearing and require almost no maintenance, only periodic cleaning to protect the natural beauty of the stone. Patios are generally installed in locations where patio or French doors can open directly out onto them as this results in a seamless transition between the inside and outside spaces.
Patios come in a huge range of colours and types of stone. Give some thought to including a different colour and style of stone to either inlay a stylish design or as edging to emphasise the shape of your patio. It is crucial to consider the use of your patio when planning it and measure accurately to ensure that any furniture fits the intended space. Expert patio and paving companies will be able to design you a patio that perfectly satisfies your requirements and creates an outdoor area that is functional as well as beautiful.

Kyle of Lochalsh is a town in the historical county of Ross-shire on the northwest coast of Scotland, situated around 55 miles (90 km) west-southwest of Inverness. It lies on the Lochalsh peninsula, at the entry to Loch Alsh, opposite the village of Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye. A ferry used to connect both towns until it was replaced by the Skye Bridge, about a mile (1.6 km) to the west, in 1995. The village is the transportation as well as mall for the area along with having a harbour and also marina with pontoons for maritime visitors. The bordering landscapes as well as wild animals are regarded as tourist attractions of the village, as is the sluggish pace of life. Crofting along with even more current crofting searches like salmon farming are several of the activities happening in Kyle of Lochalsh.
