Patios remain a very widely used way of creating practical outdoor spaces which you can use for entertaining, dining, or simply to enhance the attractiveness of your garden. Patios are constructed from block or slab paving and are available in a large variety of colours, patterns and designs. Patios can be laid in either random course patterns where the pattern is varied, or in repeating patterns that have a consistent effect. Patios are incredibly hard wearing and demand very little maintenance, only periodic cleaning to preserve the natural beauty of the stone. Patios are usually installed in locations where patio or French doors can open directly out onto them as this creates a smooth transition between the inside and outside spaces.
Patios come in a wide selection of colours and types of stone. Consider using a different colour and style of stone to either inlay a fashionable design or as edging to accentuate the shape of your patio. It is essential to consider the use of your patio when planning it and measure precisely to ensure that any furniture fits the intended space. Experienced patio and paving companies can design you a patio that perfectly fulfills your requirements and creates an outdoor area that is practical as well as beautiful.
