Stump grinding describes the process where the stump of a tree that has been felled is extracted. Usually after tree felling a couple of inches of the trunk and the root system are left behind in the soil, making the surrounding space unusable along with potentially appealing to bugs or harbouring tree diseases such as honey fungus. If your garden has stumps in the earth, having them removed could open up the area, providing you with more space which could be used to grow your lawn size or produce fresh spaces to fit patio or decking.
Specialist stump grinding firms can extract stumps of any size. The process frequently includes trimming the stump as low to the ground as possible utilising a chainsaw, and afterwards using specialist stump grinding equipment to grind away at the stump. Stumps are ground down to approximately 10-12 inches beneath the ground surface to enable replanting, however occasionally landscaping projects may need the stump to be removed deeper than this. The wood chippings that are generated by the stump grinding may be either infilled back into the hole and used as mulch for other areas of your garden, or the stump grinding company can remove it for you and dispose of it in an eco-friendly way. Also, many specialist stump grinding companies offer specialist slim equipment that can be employed if there is limited access to your garden such as via a side alleyway.

Get Cumnock pros
Cumnock is a town in East Ayrshire, Scotland. The town sits at the confluence of the Glaisnock Water and the Lugar Water. There are three neighbouring property ventures which are located just outside the town boundaries, Craigens, Logan and Netherthird, with the former ironworks settlement of Lugar also just outside the town, contributing to a population of around 13000 in the immediate area. A brand-new housing development, Knockroon, was given planning permission on 9 December 2009 by East Ayrshire Council. This area of Ayrshire has actually seen human settlement for over 5000 years. It is supposed that a site of worship has actually existed in Cumnock’s Square for over 1100 years, though the earliest records start in about 1275. The patron saint of Cumnock is Saint Conval. James IV created the Burgh of Cumnock. Cumnock housed a large number of miners, and also functioned as the market town for the other, smaller sized towns in the district, like Auchinleck, Lugar, Muirkirk, Ochiltree and New Cumnock. The town has a powerful socialist legacy due to its part as a mining centre. The father of the Labour Party, James Keir Hardie, lived in the town for a significant part of his life, and a statue to him sits outside the town hall. A small property plan in the town (Keir Hardie Hill) is named after him. The popular left-wing political leader Emrys Hughes was local MP for a time in the mid-20th century, as well as lived in the town. William Wallace apparently spent 3 months in the seat of Patrick Dunbar, according to the poem, ‘The Wallace’, by Blind Harry. Cumnock is also in the heart of Robert Burns country and the poet is supposed to have hung around there.
