Stump grinding is the process where the stump of a tree that has been felled is removed. Typically after tree felling a couple of inches of the trunk and the root system are left in the earth, making the neighbouring space unusable and also possibly attracting bugs or harbouring tree diseases such as honey fungus. If your back yard has stumps in the ground, removing them could open up the space, offering added space which could be used to maximise your lawn area or produce new areas to install patio or decking.
Professional stump grinding companies can remove stumps of any size. The technique ordinarily requires cutting the stump as low to the ground as possible using a chainsaw, and afterwards using specialised stump grinding machinery to grind away the stump. Stumps are ground down to around 10-12 inches below the dirt surface to allow replanting, although sometimes landscaping projects may require the stump to be ground deeper than this. The wood chipping that is created by the stump grinding may be either infilled back into the hole and used as mulch in other areas of your garden, or the stump grinding company could remove it and dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner. Additionally, numerous specialist stump grinding companies have specialist thin machines that can be used if there is limited access to your garden such as via a side passageway.

Get Ledbury pros
Ledbury is a Herefordshire market town, being east of Hereford, and west of the Malvern Hills. According to the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent population of 9290. Ledbury enjoys an income from tourism, being immersed in history in an attractive rural area. It has a significant number of timber-framed structures, particularly along Church Lane and High Street. Among the most outstanding is the Market House, developed in 1617, set in the town centre. Other noteworthy structures include the parish church of St. Michael and All Angels, the Painted Room, featuring sixteenth-century frescoes, the Old Grammar School, the Barrett-Browning memorial clock tower, designed by Brightwen Binyon and opened in 1896 to house the library until 2015, nearby Eastnor Castle, and the St. Katherine’s Hospital site. Established around 1231, this is a scarce enduring example of a hospital complex, with hall, chapel, a Master’s House, which was fully rejuvenated and opened in March 2015 to house the Library, almshouses and a timber-framed barn. The town is the venue for different events including the Poetry Festival. The Market Theatre, deemed to be the very first on the planet to open in the new millennium, is positioned near the town centre. They show movies on a regular basis and play host to small and mid-scale specialist touring shows, including some performances in the Poetry Festival. The yearly Community Day takes place in June each year. The first such celebration was an Ox Roast on 2 June 2013 to celebrate the diamond jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II’s crowning, exactly 60 years after an ox roast that was run in 1953 in Ledbury on Coronation Day.
