Stump grinding describes the process where the stump of a tree that has been previously felled is removed. Often after trees are felled several inches of the trunk and the root structure are left behind in the soil, making the neighbouring space impractical to use along with potentially providing a habitat for bugs or harbouring tree diseases such as honey fungus. If your back yard has stumps in the earth, removing them could clear the area, offering more space which could be used to maximise your lawn or provide new spaces to fit patio or decking.
Specialist stump grinding firms can remove stumps of any proportion. The method generally involves trimming the stump as close to the ground as possible by using a chainsaw, and afterwards using specialist stump grinding machinery to grind away the stump. Stumps are ground down to approximately 10-12 inches under the dirt surface to allow for planting, although occasionally landscaping projects might need the stump to be ground deeper than this. The wood chippings that are produced by the stump grinding may be either infilled back into the hole and used as mulch in other areas of your garden, or the stump grinding company could remove it and dispose of it in an eco-friendly way. In addition, numerous expert stump grinding companies have specialist slim machines that could be employed if there is restricted access to your garden such as through a side alleyway.

It had a population of 3,658 at the 2011 census. Most of the ranches in the hills around the community were sheep ranches, as well as the residential woollen sector, both spinning and weaving, was necessary in the area for centuries. Several manufacturing facilities were later on built along the banks of the River Dee, where both wool and cotton were processed.
