Tree felling might be undertaken for a range of reasons. Trees that are diseased or damaged and incapable of recovering may need to be felled to guarantee that they do not fall on their own and cause injury or destruction of property. Likewise, if trees are harmed by bad weather or other factors and have partially fallen they will usually require felling to ensure that they do not cause any more destruction either to properties or neighbouring trees. Domestic tree felling can even be carried out if a tree has grown too large or is particularly close to a building and therefore likely to cause structural problems. In addition, trees in gardens can be felled if they are obscuring the light to a property or otherwise impacting your enjoyment of your garden.
Though it can be tempting to handle tree felling as a DIY job, it is very risky to undertake without the correct training and planning. Expert tree felling companies can fell trees in a safe way and ensure that they do not cause any damage to property as they are felled. If the space around a tree is restricted, the tree can be felled in sections to limit the risk of it falling and causing destruction in the surrounding area. Tree felling companies will also dispose of the fallen tree in a sustainable way, and may even cut up the tree into logs for use in a wood burner or stove.

Barnard Castle is a market community in Teesdale, Area Durham, England. It is called after the castle around which it was built. It is the major settlement in the Teesdale area, as well as is a preferred visitor destination. The Bowes Museum has the best collection of European fine and also attractive arts in the North of England, housed in a stunning 19th-century French-style estate. Its most famous display is the 18th-century Silver Swan robot, though art consists of job by Goya as well as El Greco. Barnard Castle rests on the north financial institution of the River Tees, opposite Startforth and 21 miles (34 kilometres) south-west of the county town of Durham. Close-by towns include Bishop Auckland to the north-east, Darlington to the eastern and Richmond in North Yorkshire to the south-east. Barnard Castle’s largest solitary employer is GlaxoSmithKline which has a manufacturing facility on the outskirts of community. Barnard Castle is for all objectives (historical, ritualistic and also administrative) located in County Durham. The county limit with the North Riding of Yorkshire was readjusted in 1967: that part of the community of Barnard Castle historically in Yorkshire was contributed to County Durham. Barnard Castle was the management centre of the former Teesdale area of County Durham till its abolition on 1 April 2009. The community is now provided by Durham County Council Unitary Authority, as principal authority and also by Barnard Castle Town Council, as a parish. The Town Council chooses a ceremonial Town Mayor each year. It belongs to the Bishop Auckland legislative constituency, which since 2017 is represented in parliament by Helen Goodman of Labour, though with a small bulk over the Conservatives. It remains in the North East England region, which acts as a constituency for the European Parliament. Between 1894 and 1967 the town was administratively part of Barnard Castle Urban District.
