Tree felling might be undertaken for various reasons. Trees that are diseased or weakened and not able to recover may need to be felled to ensure that they do not fall on their own and cause personal injury or damage to property. Likewise, if trees are damaged by inclement weather or other factors and have partly fallen they will likely need felling to ensure that they do not cause any further damage either to properties or adjoining trees. Domestic tree felling can also be carried out if a tree has grown too large or is particularly close to a building and therefore more likely to cause structural damage. In addition, trees in gardens can be felled if they are obscuring the light to a property or otherwise impacting your enjoyment of your garden. Though it can be tempting to handle tree felling as a DIY job, it is hazardous to attempt without the correct training and planning. Experienced tree surgeons can fell trees in a safe manner and ensure that they do not cause any harm to property as they are felled. If the space around a tree is restricted, the tree can be felled in sections to lower the danger of it falling and causing destruction in the nearby area. Tree felling companies will also remove the felled tree in a environmentally friendly way, and may even cut up the tree into logs for use in a wood burner or stove.

Bedlington is a town situated in South East Northumberland, England. A former mining town, it is about 20 miles north of Newcastle upon Tyne and 4.5 miles southeast of the county town of Morpeth, as well as being close to areas such as Ashington, Blyth and Cramlington. The town is recognised most famously for giving its name to the Bedlington Terrier, a breed of dog. As per the 2011 Census, the town has a population of approximately 18,500. Since the closure of the iron works as well as the coal mines, it is predominantly a dormitory town for all those who work within the nearby towns and cities. Bedlington Old Hall, a 15th-century building which is often claimed to be the most important historic building of Bedlington, was demolished in 1959 to make space for council offices. Nevertheless, numerous sites of historic significance and regional interest continue to exist in the area. A significant historic building still standing is the Anglican parish church of St. Cuthbert. It is claimed that this dedication has been taken from an event which occurred in 1069. Escaping northwards from William the Conqueror’s army, it’s stated that the monks of Durham laid the body of St. Cuthbert in the town’s church. Hartford Hall is also in the parish, and a big level of the riverside land between Bedlington and the Hall constitutes Bedlington County Park, which is a designated local nature reserve. Residents continue to attend a weekly market in the town on Thursdays, which is held at the market place.
