Tree felling can be undertaken for a variety of reasons. Trees that are diseased or weakened and not able to recover may need to be felled to be certain that they do not fall independently and cause injury or harm to property. Likewise, if trees are damaged by bad weather or other factors and have partly fallen they will probably need felling to ensure that they do not cause any additional destruction either to properties or neighbouring trees. Domestic tree felling can also be carried out if a tree has grown too big or is particularly near a building and therefore very likely to cause structural issues. In addition, trees in gardens can be felled if they are obscuring the light to a house or otherwise impacting your enjoyment of your garden.
Though it can be tempting to handle tree felling as a DIY job, it is very risky to attempt without the appropriate training and planning. Professional tree surgeons can fell trees in a safe way and ensure that they do not cause any damage to property as they are felled. If the area around a tree is restricted, the tree can be felled in sections to lower the danger of it falling and causing destruction in the nearby area. Tree felling companies will also dispose of the felled tree in a environmentally friendly way, and may even cut up the tree into logs for use in a wood burner or stove.

Buxton is a spa town within Derbyshire. It’s on the border of the county boundary, with Cheshire to the west and Staffordshire to the south, Buxton is frequently described as ‘The Gateway to the Peak District National Park’. Originally a municipal borough, Buxton joined with other locations in 1974 to establish the local government district and borough of High Peak within the county of Derbyshire. At 300 metres above sea level, Buxton is often described as England’s highest market town. Such height means that the town is usually cooler than nearby places, with the daytime temperature being roughly 2 degrees C lower than the temperature in Manchester. Found on the River Wye and overlooked by Axe Edge Moor, Buxton is historically a spa town because of the geothermal spring that rises at a continuous temperature of 28 degrees C. The water from the spring flows to St. Ann’s Well by way of a pipe system which is located opposite the Crescent in close proximity to the town centre. Buxton gained considerable fame when the spa was recommended by Erasmus Darwin to Josiah Wedgwood in the later half of the 19th century. The water from the geothermal spring is also bottled and sold internationally by Buxton Mineral Water Company. As per the 2011 Census, the population of the town is 22,115. The town has seen continuous expansion since the coming of the railway in 1863. There’s also a fairly substantial student population, with the Devonshire Campus of the University of Derby being in 1 of Buxton’s historic buildings.
