Tree felling can be performed for a range of reasons. Trees that are diseased or weakened and not able to recover may need to be felled to ensure that they do not fall independently and cause personal injury or damage to property. In the same way, if trees are harmed by inclement weather or other factors and have partly fallen they will often need felling to ensure that they do not cause any more damage either to properties or surrounding trees. Domestic tree felling may also be carried out if a tree has grown too big or is particularly near a building and therefore very likely to cause structural issues. Furthermore, trees in gardens can be felled if they are obscuring the light to a property or otherwise affecting your enjoyment of your garden. Although it can be tempting to carry out tree felling as a DIY job, it is unsafe to undertake without the proper training and planning. Professional tree surgeons can fell trees in a safe manner and ensure that they do not cause any harm to property as they are felled. If the area around a tree is restricted, the tree can be felled in portions to lower the risk of it falling and causing damage in the surrounding area. Tree felling companies will also dispose of the fallen tree in a eco friendly way, and may even cut up the tree into logs for use in a wood burner or stove.

Kenley is a district in the south of the London Borough of Croydon (historically in Surrey). Kenley is set 13 miles south of Charing Cross. Significant sections of Kenley lie within the Metropolitan Green Belt. Particularly, the south of Kenley is dominated by the open green areas of Kenley Common and Kenley Aerodrome. The 2011 census showed Kenley having a population of 14,966. For centuries, Kenley was part of Coulsdon Manor which covered all of the area and was mostly farm land, with a handful of large houses and their estates. The formal opening of the train on 4 August 1856 revolutionised Kenley. The brand-new railway triggered urban development. By the end of the Victorian era, Kenley had assumed its own identity. Kenley Common makes up fifty-six hectares of green open space surrounding a former Battle of Britain airfield. It is a blend of chalk grassland and ancient woodland set within carefully rolling hills. Blessed with fine views across the Caterham valley and the North Downs beyond, visitors find it difficult to believe that the centre of London is just 14 miles to the north. Amongst Kenley’s landmark structures is the Memorial Hall. It was opened in 1922 to commemorate those who offered their lives in World War I. It was ultimately extended and re-opened by Group Captain Douglas Bader in 1975. Hammond Innes’ book Attack Alarm was based upon his experiences as a Royal Artillery anti-aircraft gunner at RAF Kenley through the Battle of Britain. It contains graphic descriptions of the station and attacks on it in 1940. English Heritage defined Kenley as the “most comprehensive fighter airfield related to the Battle of Britain to have actually survived”. For all your home refurbishments, be sure to find reputable professionals in Kenley to make certain of quality.
