Tree felling may be undertaken for a number of reasons. Trees that are diseased or weakened and not able to recover may need to be felled to be certain that they do not fall on their own and cause injury or damage to property. Likewise, if trees are damaged by bad weather or other factors and have partly fallen they will usually require felling to ensure that they do not cause any further damage either to properties or adjoining trees. Domestic tree felling may also be carried out if a tree has grown too large or is especially near a building and therefore more likely to cause structural damage. In addition, trees in gardens can be felled if they are obscuring the light to a property or otherwise affecting your enjoyment of your garden.
While it can be tempting to handle tree felling as a DIY job, it is hazardous to undertake without the appropriate training and planning. Experienced tree felling companies can fell trees in a safe manner and ensure that they do not cause any damage to property as they are felled. If the area around a tree is constrained, the tree can be felled in parts to lower the risk of it falling and causing damage in the surrounding area. Tree felling companies will also dispose of the fallen tree in a eco friendly way, and may even cut up the tree into logs for use in a wood burner or stove.

It is reckoned that one of the very first settlements in the region of Oswestry goes back to 3000 years, supported by the evidence incorporated in the wonderfully kept Iron Age hill fort developed between 800 BC and AD 43. Advancement began to happen after the town was given approval to hold a market every Wednesday in 1190. Due to the consistent arrival of Welsh farmers at the market, a lot of the town’s residents were bilingual. The market continued up until an outbreak of foot and mouth disease in the late 1960s, causing the animal market to be relocated from the town centre. A statue of a shepherd and sheep can now be seen in the market square as a memorial to the market site’s long history. Kinokulture, a cinema operating in a restored church, shows a frequent variety of films and live performances throughout the week and it also offers a Saturday morning Kids’ Club. The town also has a national reputation for its high number of pubs. There are just about 30 in the town, and several serve real ale.
