Tree surgery involves a wide array of tasks. Simple pruning can be executed to enhance the appearance of trees and to lengthen their lives by stimulating proper growth. The crown or branch system of a tree can be elevated if it is drooping and blocking access or light, reduced to simply make the tree smaller, or thinned to permit a lot more light through. Pollarding or coppicing are types of pruning where the tree is cut back to the trunk to promote new growth and preserve the tree. Tree surgeons can also fell trees that are dangerous, undesirable or blocking light to properties. This felling can be executed either as a straight fell if the space allows, or as a section fell which is utilised where there is restricted space to let the tree fall.
Experienced tree surgeons can perform maintenance or removal of trees in your garden to the highest standard while abiding by health and safety regulations and standards for tree surgery work. With Protected Tree Orders and Conservation areas becoming more common, taking on a tree surgeon to undertake the required work in compliance with these regulations and with British Standards for tree surgery is essential.
