Wooden decking is an increasingly prevalent choice for providing outdoor seating areas in gardens. Due to the natural beauty of wood, they can be very elegant areas which you can use year round with the addition of outside heating and illumination. Wooden decking is commonly installed in locations in front of patio or French doors where they can create a seamless transition between interior and exterior spaces. Wooden decking can come in virtually any size or shape to complement any area. Curved designs or large areas joined by pathways can produce a striking effect.
Wooden decking is fairly easy to install and causes minimal disruption, particularly in comparison to other possibilities like patio or paving. It could even be installed over the top of a pre-existing patio. It is essential however to be certain that your wooden decking is structurally sound and capable of taking the load of any furniture or plants that you want to use on the decking.
There is a array of varieties of wood that can be used in wooden decking. Usually decking is made of hardwood, but there are softwoods available that fulfil the durability requirements. As hardwood decking will demand maintenance, which typically includes yearly cleaning and staining for weather proofing, composite woods have become popular for use in wooden decking because they are stronger and require significantly less maintenance.

Kelty lies in Fife, Scotland. Kelty is a former coal mining village in the heart of the old mining heartlands of Fife. It is situated on the Fife/Kinross-shire border with a population of around 6,000 citizens. This was nearer to 9,000 when the coal mining market was still functional in late 1970s and early 1980s. Kelty is located alongside the main Edinburgh to Perth road, the M90 motorway, and as a result of this has seen several residences developed primarily for travelers to Edinburgh over the past 5 years. Kelty has 2 primary schools, St. Joseph’s and Kelty Primary. After primary school, the majority of pupils take place to Beath High School, a comprehensive institution in Cowdenbeath, or the neighborhood Roman Catholic school, St Columba’s High School in Dunfermline. Kelty also has a contemporary neighborhood centre, and a modern collection. The regional football group is Kelty Hearts that compete in the Lowland Football League, the fifth tier of the Scottish football organization system.
