Although its value as an element of garden design is sometimes disregarded, fencing is an integral part of both the appearance and functionality of your garden. Garden fencing tends to differ between the front and back of properties, with higher and more solid wood fencing generally being placed in the rear garden, while the front of the house often makes use of more compact and more attractive fencing. Fencing for the front of the home tends to have a low height and large spaces between the wooden slats. Also, it is often coloured to enhance its ornamental effect.
