Although its value as an aspect of garden design is sometimes neglected, fencing is a vital part of both the aesthetics and functionality of your garden. Garden fencing is likely to differ between the front and rear of properties, with taller and more tough wood fencing usually being placed in the rear garden, while the front of the house usually makes use of smaller and more attractive fencing. Fencing for the front of the home tends to feature a low height and large gaps between the wooden slats. Also, it is often stained to enhance its decorative effect. Fencing in the back garden is generally used for privacy and to preserve the boundaries of a garden, as well as to keep domestic pets or other small animals or wildlife either in or out. For this reason, these styles of fences are about 6 feet high and use wooden slats without gaps in between. Because of the extra height, these fences usually have concrete footings laid between each section to provide strength which will help prevent the fence from blowing over or being damaged in high winds. Garden fencing panels are generally made of wood. The posts in between the panels are manufactured from either wood, stone, or concrete. Recently, fence panels have started to be constructed from heavily recycled and environmentally friendly composite materials such as recycled bamboo.

Flint is a town in Flintshire, Wales, laying on the estuary of the River Dee. Flint lies in north-east Wales, adjacent the River Dee, to the north of the town of Mold. Across the River Dee, the Wirral can be seen from Flint and views to the south of the town feature Halkyn Mountain. Flint is set less than 12 miles from the English city of Liverpool, and closer to its metro location. Unfortunately, thanks to the two bays and rivers in between, driving distance is nearly two times as long. The name relates to the stoney platform on which the castle was built, and was first documented in 1277 in the French form ‘le Chaylou’. Flint has the oldest town charter in Wales, dating from 1284. It was previously Flintshire’s county town, and is today the third largest town in the county. In accordance with the 2001 Census, the permanent resident population of the community of Flint was 12804, which increased to 12953 at the 2011 Census. About 18 per cent of the local population classified themselves as Welsh, although the census had no tick box permitting them to do so. In 2011, Welsh identity was included and 57.1 percent specified that they had Welsh, Welsh and British or other combined identity. A lot of people in Flint have some awareness of the Welsh language, although capability does vary. English is the primary spoken language to be heard throughout the town. One of the town’s most eye-catching images is the group of three tower blocks of flats near the town centre, which were built in the 1960s. For all your home improvements, make sure to find dependable experts in Flint to make certain of quality.
