Paving is a fashionable way of providing bespoke and attractive spaces in your garden. Hard wearing and tough, paving offers an ideal way of providing spaces for dining or socialising, or it can simply be used as a low maintenance replacement for lawn. Paving is also great for providing access to different areas of your garden, and is also perfect for use if you’ve got a gated side alley with your home, or for creating a path across your lawn. Garden paving comes in numerous styles and types of stone. Whether you pick marble, granite, limestone, slate, or sandstone, there will be a kind of stone to suit your requirements. Garden paving may also be found in vitrified tile, which is a type of very hard wearing porcelain tile ideal for outdoor use. When considering your paving options, make sure that you speak to several companies and manufacturers to ensure that you choose the perfect style for your garden. Also consider adding a differing style for detailing or edging, and choose a pattern that enhances your space and draws focus on any features you want to highlight. Laying paving is a relatively easy job, but it does require a base to be laid that is level and able to support the weight of the paving as well as of any furniture you want to have on top of the paving.

Get Bridge of Orchy pros

Bridge of Orchy (Drochaid Urchaidh in Gaelic) is a village nestled in Argyll and Bute in Scotland. It sits at the head of Glen Orchy. Although generally described as a hamlet, Bridge of Orchy actually meets the definition of a village as it features a church. Access to the village is made easy due to the village’s position on the A82 dual carriageway, as well as having access to a railway station. The bridge was built by Government forces as part of a course of pacification of the Highland Clans which included the building of military roads from the Lowlands into the considerably wilder upland sections of Scotland. It crosses the River Orchy, one of the finest white water rivers in the UK. Dating back to 1751, the village contains a notable tourist hotel. Orchy is also positioned on the West Highland Way long-distance path, which is a long distance footpath in Scotland, with the official status of Long Distance Route. It is 154 km (96 mi) in length, running from Milngavie north of Glasgow to Fort William in the Scottish Highlands, with a section of hill walking within the route. The path comes under the stewardship by the West Highland Way Management Group (WHWMG) consisting of West Dunbartonshire Council, Stirling Council, Argyll & Bute Council, Highland Council and Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Authority. Approximately 80,000 people use the path every year, of which over 15,000 walk the entire route. Close by prominent peaks are the Munros Beinn Dorain and Beinn an D’thaidh. The village itself is in the central highlands. For all your home upgrades, make sure that you choose reliable specialists in Bridge of Orchy to ensure that you get a top quality service.
