Wooden decking is an increasingly popular option for providing outdoor seating areas in gardens. Because of the natural beauty of wood, they can be very beautiful areas which you can use year round with the addition of outside heating and light. Wooden decking is commonly installed in locations in front of patio or French doors where they can create a seamless transition between inside and outside spaces. Wooden decking can come in virtually any size or shape to accommodate any area. Curved designs or large areas linked by pathways can produce a stunning effect.
Wooden decking is reasonably quick to install and causes minimal disruption, particularly when compared to alternatives like patio or paving. It can even be installed over the top of an existing patio. It is important however to make certain that your wooden decking is structurally sound and capable of taking the weight of any furniture or plants that you want to use on the decking.
There is a variety of species of wood that can be used in wooden decking. Commonly decking is made of hardwood, but there are softwoods available that fulfil the durability specifications. As hardwood decking will require maintenance, which generally involves yearly cleaning and staining for weather proofing, composite woods are becoming more popular for use in wooden decking as they are stronger and require much less maintenance.

Get Bridge of Orchy pros
Bridge of Orchy (Drochaid Urchaidh in Gaelic) is a village in Argyll and Bute in Scotland. It is located at the head of Glen Orchy. While sometimes described as a hamlet, Bridge of Orchy actually meets the definition of a village as it features a church. Access to the village is made possible because of the village’s position on the A82 dual carriageway, in addition to being served by a railway station. The eponymous bridge in the town was constructed by Government forces as part of a course of pacification of the Highland Clans which included the building of military roads from the Lowlands into the considerably wilder upland sections of Scotland. It crosses the River Orchy, one of the fastest white water rivers in the UK. Dating back to 1751, the village boasts a unique tourist hotel. Orchy is also positioned on the West Highland Way long-distance path, which is a linear long distance footpath in Scotland, with the official status of Long Distance Route. It’s 154 km (96 miles) long, and runs from Milngavie north of Glasgow to Fort William in the Scottish Highlands, with a hill walking section in the route. The path comes under the stewardship by the West Highland Way Management Group (WHWMG) consisting of West Dunbartonshire Council, Stirling Council, Argyll & Bute Council, Highland Council and Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Authority. Roughly 80,000 people walk the path annually, of whom over 15,000 walk the complete route. Close by famous peaks include the Munros Beinn Dorain and Beinn an D’thaidh. The village itself is in the central highlands. For all your house improvement jobs, be sure that you use vetted experts in Bridge of Orchy to make sure that you get the very best quality service.
