Paving is a common way of designing bespoke and appealing spaces in your garden. Strong and durable, paving offers an excellent way of providing spaces for eating or socialising, or it can simply be used as a low maintenance replacement for lawn. Paving is also ideal for providing access to different areas of your garden, and is perfect for use if you’ve got a gated side alley with your home, or for creating a path across your lawn.
Garden paving comes in a number of styles and types of stone. Whether you decide on marble, granite, limestone, slate, or sandstone, there is bound to be a kind of stone to fit your requirements. Garden paving can even be found in vitrified tile, which is a kind of very hard wearing porcelain tile appropriate for outdoor use. When considering your paving options, be sure to speak to several companies and manufacturers to make sure that you select the perfect style for your garden. Also consider adding a differing style for detailing or edging, and choose a pattern that enhances your space and attracts attention to any features you want to highlight.
Laying paving is a relatively easy job, but it will require a base to be laid that is level and capable of supporting the weight of the paving as well as of any furniture you would like to have on top of the paving.

Get Spean Bridge pros
Spean Bridge is a village in the parish of Kilmonivaig, in Lochaber in the Highland region of Scotland. The village takes its name from the Highbridge over the River Spean on General Wade’s military road between Fort William as well as Ft Augustus, and not from Telford’s bridge of 1819 which carries the A82 over the river at the heart of the town. Depending on the Great Glen, Spean Bridge has transportation links north towards Inverness and south to Fort William, given by the A82, and also the A86 heads east to join the A9 at Kingussie. The village is offered by the Spean Bridge train station providing links to Glasgow, London, as well as Mallaig and also in between 1903 and also 1933 it provided a branch line service to Ft Augustus. The Highbridge Skirmish on 16 August 1745 was the initial involvement of the Jacobite Rising of 1745. The Commando Memorial, committed to the men of the initial British Commando Forces elevated throughout 2nd World War, lies about 1 mile (1.6 kilometres) north-west of Spean Bridge, at the junction of the A82 and the B8004. It ignores the training areas of the Commando Training Depot developed in 1942 at Achnacarry Castle.
