Landscaping is a term that means adjusting the visible features of land, and can therefore refer to numerous gardening tasks, from simple DIY jobs to full scale design and build landscaping solutions. Landscaping is generally divided into two different areas. Soft landscaping refers to adjustments to plants, trees and shrubs, as well as laying turf. Hard landscaping is used to group alterations to terrain such as the installation of patios, walls, fences, decking, driveways, or artificial grass. Landscaping will also consist of maintenance jobs such as mowing and strimming lawns, trimming hedges and bushes and pruning trees, although these activities are generally performed along with larger scale transformations to the garden itself.
Experienced landscaping experts will be able to execute a survey of your garden and advise you on the best adjustments to increase the use of your space. If you have always desired a patio, sleeper beds for planting or a water fountain, a landscape company will execute the design and build of these elements. Furthermore, many landscaping companies also offer an aftercare service, where they will undertake regular upkeep on your garden to ensure its new features stay in perfect condition. Landscaping works will make your garden and the other areas around your home such as your driveway a truly useful and stylish space that you can enjoy for many years to come.

Abercraf is a village in Brecknockshire in the county of Powys, Wales and has a population of 696. It is located to the south of the county in the Upper Swansea Valley, 2.5 miles north-east of Ystradgynlais. It sits just outside of the boundaries of the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Fforest Fawr Geopark.
Abercraf has a background in coal and iron. Thomas Harper, the local coalowner, established a small ironworks in 1824. The British Iron Company acquired the works in 1825 for £19,541 and leased minerals on the neighbouring mountain, Cribarth. It was unsuccessful and it ceased production in 1826 when they found that costs were exceeding the retail price.
The village has a number of amenities, including pubs, a rugby union club, a primary school and a fire station. It also has a Miners’ Welfare Hall, keeping the tradition of its coal mining past.
Abercraf sits between the slopes of the small mountain Cribarth, which is notorious for its ‘Sleeping Giant’ outline. The Giant is composed of a combination of the natural topography of the mountain and unused limestone quarries.
If you live in Abercraf and require a replacement boiler, make sure you find quotes from no less than three respected businesses.
