Maintenance and upkeep is a big part of any beautiful garden. While small gardens may only require periodic maintenance, bigger gardens can easily become overgrown and difficult to use and enjoy. Hiring an experienced gardener to maintain your garden will ensure it looks as attractive as possible, and might even save you money in the long term, as the price of rejuvenating an overgrown garden can be very significant, and could even involve replacing any damaged plants.
Garden maintenance jobs will obviously vary considerably depending on the size of your garden and the type of plants that are in it. Lawns will need mowing, strimming and edging, as well as grass feeding and weeding to kill off any weeds or moss that might be growing. This can ensure your garden features a lovely green lawn. Plants and flowerbeds will demand planting and pruning, while hedges and large bushes or trees will require trimming to ensure they don’t block out too much light or become overgrown.
Experienced garden maintenance companies will be able to perform all of these jobs. They will bring all of their own tools, which can save you from the need to store bulky garden tools, as well as disposing of your garden waste in an eco-friendly way. Garden maintenance companies will frequently arrange to carry out maintenance in a continuous fashion and will agree a maintenance routine of work with you. Normally, this will involve a visit every couple of weeks, possibly increasing to weekly at specific times of the year.

Bideford is a historic port town that’s on the estuary of the River Torridge in North Devon, in the southwest of England. The town’s name can be translated as ‘by the ford’, with documents demonstrating that prior to the development of a bridge, there was a ford at Bideford where the River Torridge is estuarine. At low tide, it is feasible, though not always safe, to cross the river by wading on foot. Bideford currently is the main town of the Torridge local government district. As per the 2011 Census, the town has a population of around 17,107. Bideford is broadly known as the place through which the American GIs landed in 1942 during the Second World War. Initially located there to work in radar stations throughout North Devon, rising numbers of troops came over over the course of the war. Bideford is famous for its New Year’s Eve celebrations. This consists of thousands of individuals from surrounding towns and villages arriving in fancy dress costumes congregating on the quay for entertainment and a firework display. Included in the event are various local bands. The town has a long history of communal New Year’s Eve celebrations. A custom from 1605 was for locals to try to run across the bridge in the time taken for the bells of St. Mary’s church to chime at midnight. During the same year, the mayor established a trust fund to raise money to purchase food for the poor and elderly who applied at the Mayor’s Parlour. This remains in place and takes place on New Year’s Day. For all of your property upgrades, ensure that you employ vetted professionals in Bideford to ensure that you get a fantastic quality service.
