Patios continue to be a very popular way of creating functional outdoor spaces that you can use for entertaining, dining, or just to enhance the attractiveness of your garden. Patios are constructed from block or slab paving and are available in a large range of colours, patterns and designs. Patios can be laid in either random course patterns where the pattern is varied, or in repeating patterns that have a consistent effect. Patios are very hard wearing and require hardly any maintenance, only occasional cleaning to protect the natural beauty of the stone. Patios are generally installed in locations where patio or French doors can open directly out onto them as this creates a smooth transition between the inside and outside spaces.
Patios come in a huge assortment of colours and types of stone. Give some thought to using a different colour and type of stone to either inlay a stylish design or as edging to complement the shape of your patio. It is important to consider the use of your patio when designing it and measure accurately to be sure that any furniture fits the intended space. Experienced patio and paving companies can design you a patio that perfectly satisfies your needs and creates an outdoor area that is useful as well as beautiful.

Get Oldbury pros
Oldbury is a town in Sandwell, West Midlands in England. It is a part of the Black Country, and the administrative centre of the borough of Sandwell. The town’s name stems from the Old English ‘Ealdenbyrig’, which conveys that Oldbury was old even in early English times over 1000 years ago. Eald is Old English for ‘old’, and Byrig is the plural of ‘burh’ in Old English, with a burh being a stronghold or fortified town. According to the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent population of around 13606 people. Oldbury was part of the ancient parish of Halesowen, a detached part of Shropshire surrounded by Worcestershire and Staffordshire, up until the Counties (Detached Parts) Act 1844, when it was integrated back into Worcestershire after an absence of nine-hundred years. It came to be an Urban District in 1894, getting Municipal Borough status in 1935. In this time, Oldbury council built several thousand houses, flats and bungalows for some 40 years until its disbandment, the 1000th of which was finished in 1933 at Wallace Road near the border with Rowley Regis. Since the 1980s, the town has seen sustained expansion, primarily the development of more retail opportunities. This features Oldbury Green Retail Park, found on the town’s ring road, which was created in the middle of the 1990s. This, in addition to the advancement of the Merry Hill Shopping Centre found roughly six miles away during the second half of the 1980s, has actually contributed to a decrease in the functioning of close-by West Bromwich town centre as a retail centre for residents. For all your home improvements, make sure to identify reliable professionals in Oldbury to make certain of quality.
