Maintenance and upkeep is a substantial portion of any beautiful garden. While small gardens may only require occasional maintenance, larger gardens can easily become overgrown and difficult to use and enjoy. Choosing an experienced gardener to maintain your garden will make sure it looks as beautiful as possible, and might even save you money in the long term, as the price of rejuvenating an overgrown garden is often very substantial, and could even call for replacing any damaged plants. Garden maintenance jobs will obviously differ significantly depending on the size of your garden and the type of plants that are in it. Lawns will demand mowing, strimming and edging, as well as grass feeding and weeding to kill off any weeds or moss that might be growing. This will ensure your garden has a desirable green lawn. Plants and flowerbeds will need planting and pruning, while hedges and large bushes or trees will need trimming to ensure they do not block out too much light or become overgrown. Specialist garden maintenance companies will be able to carry out all of these jobs. They will bring all of their own tools, which may save you from needing to store bulky garden tools, as well as disposing of your garden waste in an environmentally friendly way. Garden maintenance companies will often plan to carry out maintenance in a continuous fashion and will agree a maintenance schedule of work with you. Generally, this will consist of a visit every couple of weeks, potentially increasing to every week at specific times of the year.

Oldbury is a town in Sandwell, West Midlands in England. It is a section of the Black Country, and the administrative centre of the borough of Sandwell. The town’s name stems from the Old English ‘Ealdenbyrig’, which shows that Oldbury was old even in early English times over 1000 years ago. Eald is Old English for ‘old’, and Byrig is the plural of ‘burh’ in Old English, with a burh being a stronghold or fortified town. In accordance with the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent population of around 13606 people. Oldbury was part of the ancient parish of Halesowen, a separated part of Shropshire surrounded by Worcestershire and Staffordshire, up until the Counties (Detached Parts) Act 1844, when it was combined back into Worcestershire after an absence of nine-hundred years. It became an Urban District in 1894, acquiring Municipal Borough status in 1935. In this time, Oldbury council created a few thousand houses, flats and bungalows for some 40 years up until its disbandment, the 1000th of which was finished in 1933 at Wallace Road near the border with Rowley Regis. Since the 1980s, the town has seen ongoing expansion, mainly the development of more retail possibilities. This features Oldbury Green Retail Park, located on the town’s ring road, which was created in the middle of the 1990s. This, along with the development of the Merry Hill Shopping Centre discovered around 6 miles away through the second half of the 1980s, has actually added to a decline in the functioning of close-by West Bromwich town centre as a retail centre for residents. For all of your home developments, be sure to identify reliable specialists in Oldbury to make certain of quality.
