Maintenance and upkeep is a large element of any beautiful garden. While small gardens may only need infrequent maintenance, larger sized gardens can quickly become overgrown and difficult to use and appreciate. Employing a specialist gardener to take care of your garden will ensure it looks as beautiful as possible, and can even save you money in the long term, as the cost of cutting back an overgrown garden is often very substantial, and could even involve replanting any damaged plants.
Garden maintenance jobs will obviously differ drastically depending on the size of your garden and the kind of plants that are in it. Lawns will need mowing, strimming and edging, as well as grass feeding and weeding to kill off any weeds or moss that might be growing. This can make sure your garden has a attractive green lawn. Plants and flowerbeds will require planting and pruning, while hedges and large bushes or trees will need trimming to ensure they don’t block out too much light or become overgrown.
Professional garden maintenance companies can undertake all of these jobs. They will bring all of their own tools, which may save you from having to store large garden tools, as well as disposing of your garden waste in an eco-friendly way. Garden maintenance companies will often organise to undertake maintenance in a continuous fashion and will agree a maintenance timetable of work with you. Typically, this will involve a visit every couple of weeks, potentially increasing to every week at specific times of the year.

Brierley Hill is a modest town and electoral ward of the Dudley Metropolitan Borough within the West Midlands of England. It’s located about 2.5 miles south of central Dudley and 2 miles north of Stourbridge. Brierley Hill was traditionally in Staffordshire, but is now a part of the West Midlands metropolitan county since its establishment in 1974. A part of the Black Country, and within a heavily industrialised area of the Dudley Borough, it has a resident population of approximately 14,000 inhabitants, according to the 2011 census. Primarily created by the Industrial Revolution, Brierley Hill has a reasonably recent history, with the first written records of the town dating back to the seventeenth century. Initially created as a settlement within the woodland of Pensnett Chase, it began to expand rapidly after the chase’s enclosure in 1748, and was first displayed on a map in 1785 following the mapping of the Stourbridge Canal. The town is best identified for glass and steel manufacturing, although the business has declined considerably since the 1970s. One of the largest factories within the area was the Round Oak Steelworks, which was closed down and renovated in the 1980s to turn into the Merry Hill Shopping Centre. The Merry Hill Shopping Centre is situated immediately east of Brierley Hill. One of the biggest shopping centres in the United Kingdom, it was built between 1985 and 1989 on the grounds of Merry Hill Farm, the final functioning urban farm within the West Midlands. Since 2008, Brierley Hill, including the nearby Waterfront Business Park and Merry Hill Shopping Centre, has been officially named as the Strategic Town Centre of the Dudley Borough, with the aim to make a brand new town centre for the borough.
