Garden sheds are an essential component of any practical garden space. They can offer storage for cumbersome garden tools, as well as for other tools. A generous shed could even offer enough room for plant potting or a general workshop. Additionally, a sizeable shed could be used as an inside sitting area. Garden sheds are available in a large array of sizes and can be specified to your exact needs, providing you complete control over the number and placement of windows, type, size and location of door, and style of roof. Garden sheds normally come in one of three materials. Wooden sheds are the traditional design and can be integrated well into any garden creating a natural look, particularly if the wood used for the shed is matched to surrounding fences. Wooden sheds are still extremely popular, although they will need maintenance by retreating or staining the wood to protect the lifespan of the shed. Garden sheds are also constructed from metal, which is very resilient and therefore great for storage of tools and other equipment. Metal sheds also require very little maintenance. The final material for garden sheds is plastic, which in modern examples is a lot more resilient than might be expected. When considering a garden shed, it’s crucial to make sure that you select one which will fit in your garden space. Garden sheds should be sited on a flat area, and will require a base to be built as a foundation. This base could be produced from either concrete, paving, gravel or a floating timber base, but will need to be the right size for your shed and able to support the weight of your shed when loaded.

Battersea is a residential district of south London inside the London Borough of Wandsworth. It’s 4.8 km south west of Charing Cross. The district has one of southwest London’s principal parks, Battersea Park. In 2001, Battersea had a citizenry of 75,651, but by 2011 the number stood at 73,345, noting a modest reduction. There’s a significant section of public housing estates constructed during the mid-20th century, almost all situated north of the primary railway lines from Fairfield to Queenstown. There are 4 substantially significant estates; Surrey Lane Estate to the north, Doddington and Rollo Estate, Patmore Estate to the east and the Winstanley Estate, that is recognised to be the birthplace of the garage collective So Solid Crew. There are many notable landmarks in Battersea, one of that is the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. Prior to that, the Temporary Home for Lost and Starving Dogs was primarily based in Battersea just after moving from Holloway in 1871. Other landmarks include things like the New Covent Garden Market, a major fruit and vegetable wholesale market, plus the now disused Battersea Power Station which was constructed between 1929 and 1939. There have already been a lot of redevelopment projects since the 1980s to turn the station into an entertainment and commercial centre, but to date all attempts failed.
