Landscaping is a term which means modifying the visible features of land, and can consequently refer to a variety of gardening tasks, from simple DIY projects to full scale design and build landscaping solutions. Landscaping is normally separated into two separate areas. Soft landscaping refers to modifications to plants, trees and bushes, as well as laying turf. Hard landscaping is used to group adjustments to terrain such as installing patios, walls, fences, decking, driveways, or artificial grass. Landscaping will also consist of maintenance jobs such as mowing and strimming lawns, trimming hedges and bushes and pruning trees, although these activities are usually performed alongside larger scale transformations to the garden itself.
Professional landscaping experts will be able to perform a survey of your garden and advise you on the most suitable transformations to maximise the use of your space. If you have always desired an outdoor patio, sleeper beds for planting or a water fountain, a landscape company will carry out the design and build of these elements. Furthermore, many landscaping companies also offer an aftercare service, where they will perform routine upkeep on your garden to ensure its new features remain in perfect condition. Landscaping works will make your garden and the other areas around your home such as your driveway a genuinely functional and elegant space that you can enjoy for many years to come.

Get Battersea pros
Battersea is a residential district of south London within the London Borough of Wandsworth. It’s 4.8 km south west of Charing Cross. The district has one of southwest London’s main parks, Battersea Park.
In 2001, Battersea had a human population of 75,651, but by 2011 the number stood at 73,345, noting a modest reduction. There’s a large area of public housing estates constructed during the mid-20th century, practically all situated north of the principal railway lines from Fairfield to Queenstown. There are four considerably substantial estates; Surrey Lane Estate to the north, Doddington and Rollo Estate, Patmore Estate to the east and the Winstanley Estate, which is recognised for being the birthplace of the garage collective So Solid Crew.
You will find a variety of notable landmarks in Battersea, one of that is the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. Prior to that, the Temporary Home for Lost and Starving Dogs was based in Battersea soon after moving from Holloway in 1871. Other landmarks include the New Covent Garden Market, a significant vegetable and fruit wholesale market place, and also the now disused Battersea Power Station which was built between 1929 and 1939. There have already been numerous redevelopment projects since the 1980s to turn the station into an entertainment and commercial centre, but at this point all attempts have failed.
