Landscaping is a term that means transforming the visible features of land, and can as a result involve many gardening tasks, from simple DIY jobs to full scale design and build landscaping services. Landscaping is generally separated into two different areas. Soft landscaping refers to adjustments to plants, trees and shrubs, as well as laying turf. Hard landscaping is used to group changes to terrain like installing patios, walls, fences, decking, driveways, or artificial grass. Landscaping will also include maintenance jobs like mowing and strimming lawns, trimming hedges and bushes and pruning trees, although these activities are often performed along with larger scale changes to the garden itself.
Expert landscaping experts can conduct a survey of your garden and inform you of the ideal adjustments to increase the use of your space. If you have always desired an outdoor patio, sleeper beds for planting or a water feature, a landscape company will carry out the design and build of these elements. Furthermore, many landscaping companies also provide an aftercare service, where they will carry out routine upkeep on your garden to ensure its new features stay in perfect condition. Landscaping works can make your garden and the other areas around your house such as your driveway a really useful and beautiful space that you can enjoy for many years to come.
