Landscaping is a term that means transforming the visible features of land, and can consequently include many gardening tasks, from simple DIY projects to full scale design and build landscaping solutions. Landscaping is generally broken into two distinct areas. Soft landscaping refers to alterations to plants, trees and bushes, as well as laying turf. Hard landscaping is used to group adjustments to terrain such as the installation of patios, walls, fences, decking, driveways, or artificial grass. Landscaping will also include maintenance jobs like mowing and strimming lawns, trimming hedges and bushes and pruning trees, although these activities are generally performed alongside larger scale adjustments to the garden itself.
Specialist landscaping experts will be able to carry out a survey of your garden and recommend to you the ideal transformations to increase the use of your space. If you have always desired an outdoor patio, sleeper beds for planting or a water fountain, a landscape company will undertake the design and build of these elements. In addition, many landscaping companies also offer an aftercare service, where they will carry out regular maintenance on your garden to ensure its new features stay in perfect condition. Landscaping works can make your garden and the other areas around your home such as your driveway a genuinely useful and stylish space that you can enjoy for many years to come.

The London Borough of Haringey is a London borough in North London, classified by some definitions as a part of Inner London, and by others as a part of Outer London. It was established in 1965 by the amalgamation of three former boroughs. It shares borders with six other London boroughs. Clockwise from the north, they are: Enfield, Waltham Forest, Hackney, Islington, Camden, and Barnet. Haringey covers an area in excess of 11 square miles (28.5 km2). The local authority is Haringey London Borough Council.
According to population estimates from the middle of 2014, Haringey has a permanent population of around 267541 inhabitants. There are approximately 97101 houses in Haringey. Just over 55 per cent of residents in Haringey reside in flats, apartments or maisonettes. The borough is characterised by some intense contrasts. Areas within the west, like Highgate, Muswell Hill and Crouch End are among the most prosperous in the country. In the east of the borough, however, some wards are classified as being among the most deprived ten per cent inside the country.
Haringey is also a borough of contrasts geographically. In the wooded high ground around Highgate and Muswell Hill, at 426.5 feet (130.0 m), the land falls sharply away to the flat, open low-lying land beside the River Lea in the east. Some of the more familiar local landmarks include Alexandra Palace, Bruce Castle, Jacksons Lane, Highpoint I and II, and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
