Stump grinding is the procedure in which the stump of a felled tree is cleared away. Often during tree felling a couple of inches of the trunk and the root structure are kept in the ground, making the close-by area impractical to use along with potentially attracting insects or harbouring tree diseases like honey fungus. If your garden has stumps in the ground, removing them could open up the garden, presenting you with extra space which could be used to expand your lawn or create fresh areas to fit patio or decking.
Experienced stump grinding businesses can clear away stumps of any size. The operation commonly includes cutting the stump as close to the ground as possible utilising a chainsaw, and then using specialist stump grinding devices to grind away at the stump. Stumps are ground down to roughly 10-12 inches below the dirt surface to enable planting, although sometimes landscaping projects may need the stump to be removed deeper than this. The wood chipping that is generated by the stump grinding could be either infilled back into the hole and used as mulch in other areas of your garden, or the stump grinding company could remove it for you and dispose of it in an eco-friendly way. In addition, numerous professional stump grinding companies offer specialist slim machines that can be employed if there is limited access to your garden for example, through a side alley.

The London Borough of Haringey is a London borough in North London, classified by some definitions as part of Inner London, and by others as part of Outer London. It was created in 1965 by the amalgamation of 3 former boroughs. It shares borders with six other London boroughs. Clockwise from the north, they are: Enfield, Waltham Forest, Hackney, Islington, Camden, and Barnet. Haringey covers an area of more than 11 square miles (28.5 km2). The local authority is Haringey London Borough Council.
As outlined by population estimates in the middle of 2014, Haringey features a permanent population of around 267541 people. There are approximately 97101 houses in Haringey. Of these, 46 per cent are owner occupied. The borough is characterised by some extreme contrasts. Locations in the west, such as Highgate, Muswell Hill and Crouch End are among the most prosperous in the nation. Within the east of the borough, however, some wards are classified as being among the most deprived 10 per cent in the nation.
Haringey is also a borough of contrasts geographically. From the wooded high ground around Highgate and Muswell Hill, at 426.5 feet (130.0 m), the land falls sharply off to the flat, open low-lying land alongside the River Lea in the east. Some of the more familiar local landmarks consist of Alexandra Palace, Bruce Castle, Jacksons Lane, Highpoint I and II, and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
