Patios continue to be a very common way of creating practical outdoor spaces that you can use for entertaining, dining, or simply to enhance the appeal of your garden. Patios are constructed from block or slab paving and are available in a huge array of colours, patterns and designs. Patios can be laid in either random course patterns where the pattern is varied, or in repeating patterns which have a consistent effect. Patios are extremely hard wearing and need minimal maintenance, only infrequent cleaning to preserve the natural beauty of the stone. Patios are typically installed in locations where patio or French doors can open directly out onto them as this brings about a seamless transition between the inside and outside spaces.
Patios come in a wide assortment of colours and types of stone. Give some thought to introducing a different colour and type of stone to either inlay a fashionable design or as edging to accentuate the shape of your patio. It is important to consider the use of your patio when designing it and measure precisely to be sure that any furniture fits the intended space. Professional patio and paving companies can design you a patio that perfectly meets your requirements and creates an outdoor area that is useful as well as beautiful.

The London Borough of Haringey is a London borough in North London, classified by some definitions as part of Inner London, and by others as part of Outer London. It was created in 1965 by the amalgamation of 3 former boroughs. It shares borders with six other London boroughs. Clockwise from the north, they are: Enfield, Waltham Forest, Hackney, Islington, Camden, and Barnet. Haringey covers an area in excess of 11 square miles (28.5 km2). The local authority is Haringey London Borough Council.
In line with population estimates in the middle of 2014, Haringey features a permanent population of around 267541 people. There are roughly 97101 homes in Haringey. Approximately 55 per cent of residents in Haringey live in flats, apartments or maisonettes. The borough is characterised by some intense contrasts. Locations in the west, like Highgate, Muswell Hill and Crouch End are amongst the most prosperous in the nation. Within the east of the borough, however, some wards are classified as being among the most deprived ten per cent inside the nation.
Haringey is also a borough of contrasts geographically. From the wooded high ground around Highgate and Muswell Hill, at 426.5 feet (130.0 m), the land falls sharply away to the flat, open low-lying land near the River Lea in the east. A few of the more familiar local landmarks consist of Alexandra Palace, Bruce Castle, Jacksons Lane, Highpoint I and II, and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
