Landscaping is a term which means altering the visible features of land, and can as a result involve many gardening tasks, from simple DIY jobs to full scale design and build landscaping solutions. Landscaping is frequently split into two distinct areas. Soft landscaping refers to adjustments to plants, trees and shrubs, as well as laying turf. Hard landscaping is used to group alterations to terrain such as the installation of patios, walls, fences, decking, driveways, or artificial grass. Landscaping will also include maintenance jobs such as mowing and strimming lawns, trimming hedges and bushes and pruning trees, although these activities are generally performed together with larger scale adjustments to the garden itself.
Specialist landscaping experts can perform a survey of your garden and advise you on the best transformations to increase the use of your space. If you have always desired a patio, sleeper beds for planting or a water fountain, a landscape company will manage the design and build of these elements. Furthermore, many landscaping companies also offer an aftercare service, where they will conduct routine maintenance on your garden to ensure its new features remain in perfect condition. Landscaping works will make your garden and the other areas around your home such as your driveway a genuinely functional and elegant space that you can enjoy for many years to come.

Get Aldgate pros
Aldgate is a district in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and partly the City of London. It was the eastern-most gateway by means of the London Wall leading from the City of London to Whitechapel along with the East End of London. It gave its name to a City ward bounded by White Kennet Street in the north and Crutched Friars towards the south.
The district’s name was first recorded in 1052 as ‘East gate’, but became Alegate by 1108. In the sixteenth century, John Stow derived the name from ‘Old Gate’. But Henry Harben, writing in 1918, said that this was incorrect and that documents show an alternative variation written before 1486-7. Other meanings include ‘Ale Gate’, connected with an ale-house or ‘All Gate’, meaning the gate was free to everybody.
It’s thought that the gate at Aldgate spanned the road to Colchester in the Roman period, when London Wall was built. The gateway stood in the corner of the modern Duke’s palace on the east side of the city. It was rebuilt between 1108 and 1147, and once more in 1215. It was reconstructed entirely between 1607 and 1609 in a more classical style. Like the other London gates, Aldgate was chained in 1377 as a result of concerns about attacks from the French. The gate was finally removed in 1761 and temporarily re-erected in Bethnal Green.
