Tree felling may be carried out for a number of reasons. Trees that are diseased or weakened and not able to recover might need to be felled to ensure that they do not fall by themselves and cause injury or harm to property. Similarly, if trees are harmed by inclement weather or other factors and have partially fallen they will usually need felling to ensure that they do not cause any additional damage either to properties or surrounding trees. Domestic tree felling can even be carried out if a tree has grown too large or is particularly near a building and therefore likely to cause structural issues. Furthermore, trees in gardens can be felled if they are obscuring the light to a house or otherwise impacting your enjoyment of your garden.
While it can be tempting to handle tree felling as a DIY job, it is hazardous to undertake without the proper training and planning. Specialist tree felling companies can fell trees in a safe manner and ensure that they do not cause any harm to property as they are felled. If the area around a tree is small, the tree can be felled in sections to limit the chance of it falling and causing destruction in the surrounding area. Tree felling companies will also dispose of the fallen tree in a eco friendly way, and may even cut up the tree into logs for use in a wood burner or stove.

Diss is an English market community and also selecting ward in the East Anglian area of Norfolk, near the border with Suffolk. It had a population of 7,572 in 2011. Diss train station gets on the Great Eastern Main Line from London to Norwich. The town hinges on the valley of the River Waveney, round a mere covering 6 acres (2.4 ha) as well as up to 18 feet (5.5 m) deep, although there is an additional 51 feet (16 m) of mud. The community takes its name from dic an Anglo-Saxon word meaning either ditch or embankment. Diss has a number of historic structures, consisting of an early 14th-century parish church and an 1850s corn exchange still in operation. 4 miles east of Diss is the 100th Bomb Group Memorial Museum at the former RAF Thorpe Abbotts landing field. In March 2006, Diss ended up being the 3rd town in the UK to join Cittaslow, an international organisation advertising the principle of “Slow Towns”. Nevertheless, it has since left this initiative.
