Tree surgery involves a wide range of projects. Simple pruning can be performed to improve the appearance of trees and to extend their lives by motivating proper growth. The crown or branch system of a tree can be elevated if it is drooping and blocking access or light, reduced to simply make the tree smaller, or thinned to allow considerably more light through. Pollarding or coppicing are types of pruning where the tree is cut back to the trunk to stimulate new growth and maintain the tree. Tree surgeons can also fell trees that are dangerous, undesirable or blocking light to properties. This felling can be performed either as a straight fell if the space allows, or as a section fell which can be used where there is restricted space to let the tree fall.
Specialist tree surgeons will be able to carry out maintenance or removal of trees in your garden to the highest standard while abiding by health and safety regulations and standards for tree surgery work. With Protected Tree Orders and Conservation areas becoming more prevalent, taking on a tree surgeon to undertake the mandatory work in compliance with these regulations and with British Standards for tree surgery is vital.

Get Berriedale pros
Berriedale is a small estate town on the north eastern coast of Caithness, Scotland, on the A9 roadway in between Helmsdale and Lybster, close to the border between Caithness and also Sutherland. It is sheltered from the North Sea. The village has a parish church in the Church of Scotland. Simply south of Berriedale, on the way to the north, the A9 passes the Berriedale Braes, a steep decrease in the landscape (brae is a Scots word for hillside, a borrowing of the Scottish Gaelic bràighe). The road drops down steeply (13% over 1,3 kilometres) to connect a river, prior to rising once again (13% over 1,3 kilometres), with a number of sharp bends in the roadway– although a few of the barrette bends and also other neighboring slopes have been eased recently. The impracticality (as well as expense) of connecting the Berriedale Braes avoided the building of the Inverness-Wick Far North Line along the east shore of Caithness; rather the train runs inland via the Flow Country. Berriedale is located at the end of the 8th stage of the coastal John o’ Groats Path.
