Experienced tree surgeons will visit your property and perform a full survey of the trees, producing a plan for the perfect work to be completed to enhance your garden. Tree surgeons will take into account things like your light requirements for the house, the health of the trees, and any possible structural issues that may present themselves if a tree is too near to the existing buildings.
Tree surgery includes a wide variety of tasks. Simple pruning can be completed to improve the appearance of trees and to lengthen their lives by stimulating proper growth. The crown or branch system of a tree can be elevated if it is drooping and blocking access or light, reduced to simply make the tree smaller, or thinned to permit significantly more light through. Pollarding or coppicing are types of pruning where the tree is cut back to the trunk to promote new growth and maintain the tree. Tree surgeons can also fell trees which are unsafe, unsightly or blocking light to homes. This felling can be executed either as a straight fell if the space allows, or as a section fell which is used where there is limited space to let the tree fall.
Professional tree surgeons can carry out maintenance or removal of trees in your garden to the highest standard while complying with health and safety regulations and standards for tree surgery work. With Protected Tree Orders and Conservation areas becoming more widespread, taking on a tree surgeon to handle the mandatory work in compliance with these regulations and with British Standards for tree surgery is vital.

Chard is a town and a civil parish in the English county of Somerset. It lies on the A30 road near the Devon border, 15 miles (24 km) south west of Yeovil. The parish includes a population of about 13000 and, at an elevation of 121 metres (397 ft), Chard is the southernmost and highest town in Somerset. Administratively Chard forms part of the district of South Somerset. The name of the town was Cerden in 1065 and Cerdre in the Domesday Book of 1086. Just after the Norman Conquest, Chard was held by the Bishop of Wells. The town’s first charter was from King John in 1234. Chard is most famously referred to as the birthplace of powered flight, as in 1848, John Stringfellow first established that engine-powered flight was achievable. Percy and Ernist Petter, who formed Westland Aircraft Works, witnessed a number of Stringfellow’s demonstrations in Chard and frequently asked for help in the formation of Westland’s 1st aircraft development factory on the outskirts of Yeovil. Agusta Westland now holds the Henson and Stringfellow lecture yearly for the RAeS. Chard Reservoir, about a mile north east of the town, is a Local Nature Reserve, and Snowdon Hill Quarry a geological Site of Special Scientific Interest. Major employers in the town include Numatic International Limited and the Oscar Mayer food processing plant. You will find a variety of sporting and cultural facilities, with secondary education being provided at Holyrood Academy. Religious sites include the Church of St Mary the Virgin which dates from the late 1200’s. For all of your house upgrades, make certain that you employ trustworthy experts in Chard to ensure you get the top quality.
